Picked up this ceramic boot while visiting my cousin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, during the summer of 2024. I found it in a small local shop and immediately knew I was leaving with it. There wasn’t a practical reason for buying it. I just liked the form, the glaze, and the fact that it turned an ordinary object into something playful. Today it sits on a shelf holding matches, serving the exact purpose it was designed for while reminding me of that trip.
