I first discovered Mk.gee through Dijon and immediately became interested in his music. Luckily, Two Star & the Dream Police came out only a few months after I really started listening and quickly became my favorite album of the year. Such a refreshing sound with some Bon Iver-like qualities while still feeling completely its own. Had to grab a physical copy once it finally restocked.
